TSF Series modular self-cleaning filter is the automatic filtration system designed by JOVEFLOW according to the modular design concept. It has the high reliability and flexibility for expanding. It has the following features: running automatically, very durable, no manual cleaning, very easy to open for maintenance, with unique NV-SLOT filter element, completely back-flushed and less back-flushing discharging liquid. MF filter can purify the liquid and protect the downstream key equipments. It is designed and manufactured by the high performance, high quality, high reliability standard of JOVEFLOW and has the world class quality.

uses the filtered fluid in the system to clean the elements;

uses External fluid to clean the elements

How it works

Unfiltered fluid enters into filters through the inlet, and flows through every element from the outside inwards. Contaminants are collected on the outer surface of elements. Filtered fluid exists through the outlet. Self cleaning cycle is initiated by a preset program (according to pressure drop across the system or time interval). During cleaning, one filter tube at a time is brought off line and backwashed. The backwash flow removes the contaminants from the elements and washes them to drain. While one filter is at backwashing cycle, the others maintain filtration.

[Internal backwash]
  PLC controls to close the inlet valve of one filter, and open its drain valve. A portion of filtered fluid in the system flows backward through the element of this filter, carrying the contaminants to the drain. After that, this filter returns to filtration process by closing its drain valve and opening its inlet valve. Then another filter enters backwash cycle under PLC control. Self cleaning cycle completes after all the filters are backwashed one by one. TFSI mode should be considered when the process stream is: *Of sufficient flow and pressure(≥0.4MPa) to ensure an adequate backwash *Inexpensive and does not create a disposal problem.


[Enternal backwash] 
PLC controls to close the inlet valve and outlet valve of one filter, and open its backwash valve for backwash fluid entering. The drain valve of this filter opens once the pressure inside this filter reaches to the same level of the pressure at the backwash inlet. Then the backwash fluid washes the contaminants to drain. This filter returns to filtration by closing its drain valve and backwash valve, opening its inlet valve and outlet valve. Then another filter enters backwash cycle under PLC control. Self cleaning cycle completes after all the filters are cleaned one by one. TSFE mode should be considered when the process stream is: *Not of sufficient flow and pressure to ensure adequate internal backwash *Valuable, or if it creates a disposal problem.
